Hello!

Thank you for the great comments this past week regarding my last post about staplers and pencil sharpeners. Who knew that chatting about our favorite office supplies could be so interesting?

We have been using a new product in our office that has quickly become Michele's favorite. She likes it so much she keeps it at her work station! This just so happens to be a Swingline - and we are giving away Swingline products away at the end of the day today to two lucky commenters. Comment before 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time to enter your name into the drawing!

Here is what Michele had to say when I asked her about her favorite supply right now:

I really enjoy my new Swingline paper shredder! My favorite feature is that amount of paper you can shred at once. You can insert up to 100 sheets in the top loader for automatic shredding or insert up to six sheets through the bypass slot. It’s a definite time saver. Being a multi-tasker, I love that you can put a stack of paper in the shredder drawer, press auto, and go about your business. My old shredder was one I had to insert every paper and that can be very time consuming; so this is great!

I also appreciate how light and compact the Swingline is. It can fit right under my desk. Emptying the shredder is a breeze. There’s a pull out drawer that lifts right up for easy disposal. Who knew shredding paper could be so fun!

Thanks again and be sure to leave us your comment before the end of the day.

Since the topic is Swingline, I have a favorite Swingline product and it is my stapler. You might say all staplers are alike...but they are not! I love my Swingline stapler for several reasons. It is just the right size for your desk, not too big, not too small, and not too heavy! The top of it has a non-slip coating that I love. And, the best feature of all, it has a "built-in" removable staple remover! You can't lose it -- it is always at your fingertips! The model number is SWI66201.

I love the Swingline product line (a girl's best friend)! I love the trimmers they carry - they are so accurate and have the sharpest blades. But, the thought of having a shredder in my office - heaven. I currently cart stuff downstairs for shredding. This will be on my wish list this year!

The swingline shredder sounds like a great tool, and I like the idea of being able to put a stack in at a time. This would be nice for the home businesses as well. Thanks for sharing!

I also have the stapler that dsciulli mentioned and I love it. I didn't know about the shredder. It sounds awesome. I'll be checking that out as well.

I shred almost everything in my office to create a more "green" office. However, I can only do a maximum of ten sheets at a time. How wonderful to have the capability to shred 100 sheets. Quite a time saver.

What a FANTASTIC time saving machine. I have to feed each page into the shredder. To be able to put a stack in and hit "auto" could add hours to some days.

I have 20 years of income tax paperwork that needs to be shredded. I keep it in stackable boxes here there and everywhere. Needless to say, I have been dreading it. And now I feel a stir in my body - sort of excitement that this project can actually be completed in a timely fashion. I love machines and Swingline products. Let's turn my dreading into some awesome shredding. Please please can I have one? I love you Joan and Jasmine!

I love Swingline products! Everyone in my area comes by to use my electric Swingline stapler. I didn't know they did shredders too!

I love, love, love my Swingline staplers! I am definitely going to look into the Swingline shredder - our office has many confidential papers that must be shredded on a regular basis. It would be great to be able to put them in and get back to work!

A swingline sounds like exactly what we are looking for! I have boxes of confidential papers that need shredded and our current machine can only accept a couple of papers at a time, so it becomes a very time-consuming job. This would make it a breeze!
