I hope you have been enjoying the tips shared from our annual conference for administrative excellence attendees. They really took their time to think of true and helpful advice. Please remember to share your thoughts with us as well. Let's these words help guide you on your path forward.

  • Don’t judge others. No matter what the circumstances, treat others the way you want to be treated.
  • I would suggest that no matter how unfair a situation may seem to be at the time, give yourself a chance to work through whatever it is and the outcome may turn out completely different from what you expect. It could possibly be a very positive outcome.
  • Have hope. Things have a way of changing. Find the positive within the negative.
  • Embrace where you are and believe you are where you are supposed to be.
  • You cannot change anyone – only your attitude or perception. Be true to yourself.
  • Don’t give up! Remember – you are not alone. Something good comes from everything.
  • Stay positive. Things happen for a reason. God is watching out for you. Trust His judgment and stay faithful.
  • Accept the obstacles in your path and trust that God’s timing is perfect.
  • Road blocks don’t mean NO. They just mean NOT RIGHT NOW.
  • Always network with others. You never know who you will come across that can help you achieve your goals.
  • You can take care of yourself. Trust in God. Remain faithful. Have a positive attitude. Take care of yourself.
  • Remember, you are not the only one “this” has happened to.
  • You are always tested, but it’s more important what you do to make a negative situation turn over into a positive situation.
  • Learn from your errors and move on.
  • Persistence pays off. Don’t give up at the first obstacle. Setbacks are often illusions. Mirages can look real. Work through those setbacks. As Winston Churchill said – “Never, never, never, never give up!”
  • Everything happens for a reason. Look for the positives in every negative. Continue to shine and do your best in every job, no matter what circumstance you are thrown into – it could benefit you later on. Don’t let disappointments define you.
  • If you are dealing with a job change or demotion, use that time to enhance your skills, learn about the company and let your creative talents and knowledge be seen by others in the company. You will reap the reward in time.
  • Life has different and unexpected obstacles for all of us. It’s what you do with what type of attitude that makes us a stronger person. See things in a brighter light, keep a positive attitude and no matter what, know that everything will be ok. Have the courage to move forward in life. If one door closes, a window opens.
  • Just because there are roadblocks it doesn’t mean you have to stop – just look for the detour and look for the positives and lessons to be learned. Never give up – the real joy is just around the corner.
  • Take care of yourself. Believe in yourself. Follow your instinct.
  • The situation is what it is – what am I going to do with it!
  • The saying, “When one door closes, another opens” is very true. You just need to be willing to see the opportunities.
  • Believe in your gut. You cannot change obstacles, but you can change how you resolve issues. Have faith that God will take care of you.
  • Live life to the fullest. Take every opportunity to seize it. Take care of yourself!
  • Stay positive and keep the faith. Let your faith grow.
  • Things happen for a reason: something better is in the future. Look for the positives in life and be grateful for those.
  • Change is an opportunity for growth.
  • Don’t let someone’s negative comments that are meant to degrade you shape your opinion of where you should go or what you should do.
  • Change is a constant; hold on and persevere!
  • I believe there is always a purpose for every situation or circumstance, even when we don’t see it at the time.
  • Be grateful for change; you never know where it will take you.
  • Even when you experience change and you are not sure if it is positive…stick with it! There is personal growth with every situation.
  • Trust in God that He will always take care of you – take His hand and jump!
  • Be patient and stay positive!
  • Never give up! You choose your destination. Everything happens for a reason…you just may not know why today.
  • Keep trying. Stay positive and try something that you don’t think you can do!
  • Get your mammogram! Just take care of today. It’s okay to think about yourself!
  • Keep your faith – more than likely there is something better around the corner. Always try to give a smile to someone else – it costs nothing. You never know how much that simple gesture can help someone who may be hurting.
