It was such fun for me to be back at IAAP's annual convention. I had not attended since the Reno event a few years ago, where I gave 2 presentations. This trip was different in a very fun way. I was at the OfficeArrow.com booth from 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 meeting, greeting, and hugging admins--autographing books, answering questions and giving advice. It was a non-stop flow of admins and I loved it!
I met several new administrative professionals and executive assistants from a variety of industries. There was a lovely group from Vancouver. All were enjoying the conference itself as well as meeting peers and sharing ideas with each other.
I especially enjoyed time meeting new people, many of whom were very interested in learning more about Office Dynamics and what we offer in terms of administrative assistant training. A new visitor had asked "How did you get started in your business, Joan?" I told her the 3 minute version and said I probably should Blog about that some day or do a quick video. I am often asked that question.
More to come on my IAAP EFAM experience this week. Keep checking back.
