I'm sure many of you are engrained in March Madness. Even if you are not a big basketball fan like me, it is still all around you. But I think there is another kind of March Madness. I'm seeing it and hearing it every day as business picks up. It is great to see organizations, managers, executives and their staff getting busier and busier. With that comes the need for all parties to pick up their pace, work smarter and faster, respond quicker, and keep things moving at a record pace.

Here it is--March 1st already! We all hear how time flies and it truly does. It seems to go by faster each year. When you were a child, do you remember adults telling you, "The older you get, the faster time goes"? I certainly do. So is it that we are really getting older or just that the pace of our lifestyle is faster in 21st century?

The new economics I refer to are in reference to time. How should we invest the limited resource of time we’ve each been given to yield the greatest return?
“In court papers, PepsiCo claims it first received a legal document related to the case from the North Carolina agent on Sept 15 when a copy of the co-defendant’s letter was forwarded to Deputy General Counsel Tom Tamoney in PepsiCo’s law department. Tamoney’s secretary, Kathy Henry, put the letter aside and didn’t tell anyone about it because she was “so busy preparing for a board meeting.”
