Spectacular Events In Louisville with Joan Burge

Joan Burge Inspires Administrative Professionals in Louisville

May 22, 2009 Joan Burge returned to the office from her last trip of the spring season. Joan has been making her rounds across the country, speaking to special IAAP Chapters that have hosted her events. Joan has donated her time and service to these Chapters when she is traveling through their areas. Joan has been received with warm welcomes, open arms, enthusiasm, eagerness to learn, and more from these wonderful host Chapters. What better place to end her tour for the season than in Louisville, Kentucky?

May 19, Joan started her trip off with her flight into the fabulous city and upon landing was almost directly transported to her first of many engagements. The Louisville IAAP Chapter hosted their meeting free to all members and non-members at the Papa John's corporate facility. Joan spoke about her book, Underneath It All. Signing books, greeting members, sharing stories - another special night to cherish.

May 20, Up and at 'em, Joan! An on-site program for special invitees only. Graduates of the Star Achievement Series at Humana were offered a special invitation to attend a 3-hour workshop with Joan Burge. Joan spoke on the topic of her new book, Underneath It All. Everyone also received a copy of her book at the event.

For 9+ years Humana has been teaching the Star Achievement Series to their administrators. Humana has several trainers certified to teach all three levels of the series. During Joan's visit to Louisville it was only fitting to meet with her Star training team. Half of the trainers flew in from the Green Bay, WI area to participate in these events with Joan.

May 21, Next stop: Kindred Health Care. Kindred has been teaching the Star Achievement program since 2007 and invited Joan to attend their celebration in honor of the Admin Professionals within their organization. It is because of companies like Kindred that take an interest in their administrative staff's development that keeps this profession growing.

Thank you to everyone that was a part of this dynamic trip. Joan enjoyed having the chance to meet each and every one of you and she looks forward to more trips like this one.
